Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!
I'm torn on this one because DQ5 is indeed the bomb, but The Legend of Zelda gave us open-ended exploration without hand-holding, which is the best kind of video game. The Legend of Zelda 1 gave us Dark Souls. I will take a few days to think about this.

DQ5 might be one of my favorite games ever (just thinking about some of the "B" dialogue for the children gives me a lot of emotions and that's not normally my thing), so I'm absolutely biased... While LoZ and its non-explanatory exploration is important, I'm okay with it making it this far. Seems like we have an opportunity to vote for Dark Souls itself as well.

It's been a few days. The best DQ game and among the best JRPG's ever vs Zelda 1. I get that Zelda didn't hold hands, but lots of games before that didn't either... Ever play a Swordquest game without a walkthrough???
Anyway, it looks like DQV is gonna lose here even if you do vote for it. It's unfortunate but half-expected at this stage.
