Finished Beforeigners on SkyShowtime. Good series, enjoyed watching it.
After starting this series I also started watching Grimm on SkyShowtime, currently at episode 19 of season 1.
Also watching Knuckles, a spin off series of the Sonic movies. Just as good as the movies, but as it's new it's 1 episode each week.

Still watching Sunny and Time Bandits on Apple TV+ and waiting for the new seasons of other series.

Guess I've finished season 2 of House of the Dragon on HBO Max, but there will be a season 3 and 4 as I've heard/read somewhere.

SkyShowtime
Finished the available Grimm episodes and Knuckles.
Finished season 3 of A Discovery of Witches.
Also watched a 3 season series Brittania, not the expected ending but it was still a good watch.

HBO Max+
Currently watching the new series Dune Prophecy. Only 2 episodes available atm. Looks good, can't say more.
Started Dream Raider a while ago but only watch it occasionly (have to read subtitles). Nice series.
Also watched the short anime series Uzumaki. It's in B&W but still interesting to watch.

Apple TV+
Started the second season of Silo. Also only 2 episodes available atm.
Finished watching Pachinko season 2.
Finished the available Sunny episodes. Seems there won't be a second season.

Since Berls is having her surgery tomorrow, Mrs. K and I both took the week off, and we recently got one of those 3 free months of Apple TV+ from her phone upgrade, so I think we'll be taking this opportunity to blitz through whatever is available on there.

Apple TV is one of those annoying apps that displays a whole bunch of stuff we apparently don't have access to via our subscription, so one movie we wanted to watch already is unavailable unless we pay for it. Kind of weird.

Anyway, I'll be going through all of Merlin's past recommendations to see what else I can fit in before the timer expires. :D

I think I'll be starting with Severance and Silo.

Yeah, it's stuff from other streaming services I guess. Anyway, I always go straight to Apple TV+ in menu to get to the stuff I can watch. For some big titles you still have to wait for a while to watch it for free, but that's ok with me.

Currently watching a new season of Mythic Quest.
Severance and Silo will be getting more seasons, but I'll have to wait for them.

Quarterly check-up on our TV exploits:

For light background noise television for multitasking, we went through the first three seasons of Schitt's Creek (excellent 20-30-minute episodes of unbeatable Canadian comedy) and the entire series of A Different World (I skipped season 1 because Lisa Bonet lacks charisma), both on Netflix.

I've also finished the excellent first season of Silo on Apple TV+, and plan to continue with the second season this week. Really enjoying this one, because Rebecca Ferguson doesn't lack charisma.

We just watched an excellent 4-episode mini-series on Netflix called Adolescence, about a kid who may or may not have been subjected to unfortunate online radicalization into degenerate ideologies (alt-right/manosphere stuff). No spoilers, but it's very well done, well-written. And each episode is a one-shot, somehow, mind-blowingly. Highly recommended to anyone who has kids, is or knows a man, or is online.

Severance is very much worth the watch. Finished the second season on Friday. I think it will go down as one of the best shows of the 2020's for sure.

Finished Severence and Mythic Quest on Apple TV+
Started Side Quest, a spinoff of Mythic Quest. First episode was ok, but I'll have to see how it develops.

On SkyShowtime I've watched Teacup - a short horror series (if it stays on 1 season) that has it moments, but I score it a 7.5/10
I've got The Rising and 12 Monkeys on my to watch list, but I don't know when I'll watch them.

As for HBO Max I'm watching:
- Pennyworth - The Origin of Batman's Butler - So far a decent series with enough action, but I don't have the urge to keep watching.I'm still in the forst season out of 3 so it's gonna take a while before I get to the end. For now I'll score it a 6.8/10
- The White Lotus - currently in the 3rd season. Each season is at a different location with a slightly different cast. Can't say it's bad, so 7/10.

Warrior is on my watch list. Looks promising.

Hey Merl, did you watch a show on Apple TV+ called See? It came up on my recommendations.

Yeah, I've watched it. First season in 2020. I thought it was a great series.
