High praise! I thought it was pretty good. Definitely also a high contender for my 2014 AAA GOTY. You pretty much nailed my sentiments. Fun, tight gameplay. A story that strikes a good balance between Wolfenstein jingoism and occasional legitimate rhetoric. Good stuff.VictorViper wrote: Best entry in the series, no doubt about it. Slow start this year. February's over and only two games are down! School has been perhaps my busiest semester ever this time around, so I'm not terribly surprised.
This game in particular, though, has been a long time coming! Bought it a few years ago but got super mad when I lost all my continues in one level. Didn't pick it back up for awhile.
Then last night I popped it in determined to knock it out. I got to Andross, and he laid waste to all of my continues, but this was at least further along than the last time I tried. Twice dejected, I decided to glance at a strategy guide to see if there were any tips. I didn't gain much from that, but I did learn that there was a warp zone from the 2nd level to the final level. So today I did that and knocked the Big Bad out in one life! Pretty fun experience. I look forward to trying the two harder paths through the game.
