At this point, Half-Life 2 realistically needs 3 votes to advance to the next round. So dropped votes from Clay & Forks proabably wouldn't have made a difference. I guess we would have had the entertainment value of a Half-Life 2 vs. The Legend of Zelda tie-breaker.

I seem to recall one of the past BGEs having Half Life(I think the first one, but maybe it was the second) losing out to Battletoads. I even seem to recall commenting on it at the time. No one at the time seemed to consider it a big deal.
