Pets!

Post by Kong Wen »

Got pets? Post pictures of your pets. Say something nice about your pets. Pets!

Here's a short video of Berlin being upset when she realizes trick or treaters are at her house, and then being upset when she realizes trick or treaters are not at her house.

Since I've been in China it's been difficult persuading myself that getting a pet is a good idea. I did come close very recently to buying two Pomeranians that tugged my heart as I walked past the pet shop,I guess I just want some little buddies to keep me company while I'm sat at home writing, or editing. I'm leaning more to having a cat though in all honesty. More independent, less hassle if I'm busy and so on. Really miss the cat (called Cat) I had in England, she was brilliant. Sadly passed away not long after I left England.

Pets pets!

I've recently bought a puppy. He's 6 weeks now, and will be ready to live with us in 2 weeks. It's a little borzoi male called Boris (which also happens to be a great song by the Melvins).

He's currently about.. this cute:

The Borzoi breed has a great variation in coat colour, the other pups in the litter are black, black/white and brown. I'm really happy with the colour and markings of my pup.

A Spoodle is a Cockapoo! A mix between a Cocker Spaniel and a small Poodle. (looked it up ;))

Ah, that's the term I'm more familiar with. Rad dog! Mrs. Kong used to have a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, but not both in one dog. :)

Skyla is crossed with a mini poodle.

They can be crossed with you poodles as well.

Didn't realise Spoodle was such an Australian term I knew in England they're called cockapoo's.

My pup Boris looks hilariously tiny in the pup pics compared to now. Getting near the height of my adult golden-girl.

Berlin got a qualifying score in her obedience trial this weekend. :) Here she is basking in her victory with her friend Vice the Whippet.
