Lots of big titles in this one!

Despite not having the required mouse, I enjoyed Mario Paint a lot as a kid :p Left for Dead 2 made for some great local multiplayer experiences.

It can only be Doom II, one of the best and most influential shooting games of all time. I'm surprised to find this so low in the rankings.

Mario Paint for me. Hours and hours of fun with that as a kid. And that was without the mouse!

Lots of great games to consider in this one, but Doom 2 is so far ahead of the rest of the pack, I can't bring myself to vote on anything else. Doom II proper, online deathmatches and WAD editing stole several days of my youth from me.

I would have voted for 3 titles here: Doom II, Metroid Prime 2, Legend of the Mystical Ninja.
But Metroid Prime 2 deserves to all my unadulterated love, so it gets my only vote in this bracket.

I'm surprised it's not land-sliding this poll, too. I did love Metroid Prime 2, though...but gosh it's hard to say that it really brought more fun per kilobyte than Doom II.

We have a ton of Nintendo loyalists here, so I'm not surprised Prime 2 is competing well, but I certainly agree Doom II really ought to be crushing any game in this poll. Where's Spore? this is the time to wax poetic about an all-time classic and behemoth of the genre.

I'm certainly going to feel like an idiot for not voting Doom 2 if Metroid Prime 2 beats it.

i liek doom sequal did you see the shott gun?

Edit: And to answer the question of "Where's Spore?", I already did my part by being the only person to nominate this "all-time classic and behemoth of the genre". It shouldn't be in these brackets to begin with!
