Re: Round 3: The New Brunswick Bracket
Wow, this one is tough. I went for Super Punch-Out!! as it's just a classic arcade style game and Zero Mission which is one of the best Metroid games around.

I might have been convinced to toss out another vote or two here, but I stuck with a single to emphasize how strongly I believe in Guacamelee!
Seriously, gang. I really don't care who wins what or ranks where. If you haven't played it, get on that. Perfection.

I voted for it, but I can't say I've been entirely impressed by it yet. I only have the first power, and I hear it gets better, so I'll keep going with it someday. The mechanics are sound and I see the potential.VictorViper wrote:I might have been convinced to toss out another vote or two here, but I stuck with a single to emphasize how strongly I believe in Guacamelee!

I voted for Guacamelee! Shoe, trying to judge this game with just the first power unlocked is like judging Super Metroid without any of Samus's abilities. Can't be done. I consider them on close to the same plane in terms of their vision and execution. The various boss fights in the game also make great use of the fighting mechanics. Javier.

Wow. This is a bracket that consists almost entirely of games I consider good. Awesome. Sure will make voting hard, though!

Guacamelee, Fallout, and Metroid Zero Mission will advance to the next round!
