I’m sad that we’re not getting a proper conference for E3 with Sony I really do enjoy the atmosphere. Now it seems Sony and Nintendo will be doing a pre recorded show.
Nonetheless thank you Sony for having a respectable time for Australians.
Regarding what I want.
Microsoft
- Fable IV
- Halo 6
- Cheaper long term subscriptions for Game Pass
- Release date for Ori and the will of the whisps.
- Avatar release date
I really don’t know what to expect from Microsoft Halo 6 seems very likely otherwise more exclusives would be fantastic
Sony
- Backwards compatibility (though with the new format that’s doubtful)
- Crash Bandicoot 4
- Announce more PS+ games come March 2019
- No PS5 announcement (which has been confirmed by Sony)
Sony seem to have full control right now but I really hope they can copy Microsoft in backwards compatibility moving forward to the PS5 which I’m glad won’t be shown.
Nintendo
- Metroid Prime Trilogy with pro controller support
- Animal Crossing
- Game Pass like Virtual Console system
- Folders
- Themes
- Snes and N64 for Online classic games.
I don’t think I’ve ever been this low on Nintendo not much coming out interests me the switch hybrid natures makes it average home console at best and I hate holding the switch in handheld mode. I also bought into the console way to early. Generally just fix everything wrong with the UI and make the console feel like it’s not in Alpha anymore while announce some new titles and give me back my old games with whatever Virtual Console will be called. I don’t expect Prime 4 or Pokemon.
EA
- Skate 4
- Cool surprise game that wows me
EA seem to focus on sport and shooters so I’m always not very interested however try sell me on Anthem I guess.
Ubisoft
Ubisoft have seemed to have a few things that wow me every year. South Park, Mario Rabbids, Rayman. Hope they can do that again.
Square Enix
- Kingdom Hearts 3 release date
- Just Cause 4
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay
While my hype for KH3 has dropped a ton after struggling to play much of KH2 I’m still hoping it’s out this year. There’s not much I want even Just Cause 4 isn’t that high on my wish list and I’ll always get around to playing Tomb Raider.
Bethesda
I don’t really care about Bethesda I didn’t hate Skyrim however it wasn’t amazing like it was for others. Maybe something will pop up maybe Elders Scrolls VI
I Believe that’s it.
In summary
Sony - Hoping for something good not expecting much
Nintendo - Literally need to fix everything to turn my view around
Microsoft - 2-3 announcements would make me happy
Everyone else - Any else cool is a bonus
