This is a great time to sift through the silt and see what nuggets we can find. We haven’t included remakes, ports, and enhanced versions of main series games. Only know the series by name so I voted the one game I've played: Mystic Quest on GB (a.k.a. FF Adventure).

Was wondering about why the Final Fantasy Legend games were missing but as I read these are a completely different series so I didn't mention them before.

Yep, the Final Fantasy Legend games are part of the SaGa series. I could have included them based on their localized names alone, but...

Technically, Final Fantasy Adventure is part of the Seiken Densetsu series (Mana) rather than the Final Fantasy series, but it sneaked into this category by virtue of the fact that its original Japanese name does include Final Fantasy. It's called Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden. Whether that makes the entire Mana series a canonical Final Fantasy spinoff or just the first entry is up to your interpretation.

I voted for Tactics, and then pretty much the main series. I passed on II, IX, and the XIII and XV crowd and the online/MMOs.

Oh, I also voted for Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, which is often jeered for being a dumbed-down pseudo-RPG with little to do with the FF series but it actually a pretty dynamic and fun SNES-era RPG. I encourage people to check it out.
