Konami's TurboGrafx-16 Mini

Konami is releasing a mini-console version of the TG16. It has different shapes and names in Europe and Japan, so they clearly want to get in on the authentic-but-tiny bandwagon that Nintendo is pulling (Sega recently hopped on and Sony recently fell under the wheel).

EDIT: The full list of games has now been confirmed (a few replies below).

It's coming in March 2020, but pre-orders begin later this month.

Dracula X is an SNES game. Rondo of Blood is the TG version. Dracula X is arguably a port, but they changed enough about it that it counts as its own game.

I wonder if this means we'll get Bonk in North America... or if it means we won't.

I didn’t know they owned the Hudson brand starting around 2001-2005. I thought it was around 2012 when Hudson Soft closed.

Hmm, me either. Seems like they had been majority shareholders for almost a decade before they shut their doors. Just the same, it's still too bad Konami has Hudson's properties as they've hardly shown much care or concern for their own legacy.

Not saying this will automatically suck, and if it's good I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I want it to be great! My hopes aren't exactly high though.

I mean, I guess Konami taking the lead on this means Rondo of Blood should be on there.

I think it's fair to be skeptical of the potential for suckiness of any of these micro-consoles. The TG16 is a system that really deserves a good one.

Konami has revealed the complete list of games. They're divided up between Western and Japanese games (both sets are on each version of the system). Accounting for overlap, there's just shy of 50 games on here.
